These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BassTourneyHub ("Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), a tournament management service for bass fishing organizations and anglers primarily in South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Platform.
1. Description of Service
BassTourneyHub provides an online platform for:
- Tournament directors to create, manage, and publish bass fishing tournaments and tournament trails
- Managing angler rosters and registration
- Recording and displaying tournament results and standings
- Communicating with anglers via email
- Public viewing of upcoming tournaments, trail standings, and results
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
2. Account Registration
To access director features, you must create an account. By registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password confidential and not share it with others
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Director accounts are subject to approval by BassTourneyHub administrators. We reserve the right to reject or revoke account access at our discretion.
3. User Responsibilities
Tournament Directors
As a tournament director, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring the accuracy of all tournament information you post, including dates, locations, rules, and entry fees
- Obtaining appropriate consent from anglers whose information you enter into the Platform
- Complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and fishing regulations
- Managing your own tournament operations; BassTourneyHub is a software tool, not a co-organizer
- Any communications you send to anglers through the Platform
- Keeping your roster data accurate and up to date
All Users
All users of the Platform agree to:
- Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
- Not interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
- Provide truthful and accurate information
4. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Platform to:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent tournament information
- Collect or harvest other users' personal information without their consent
- Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) to anglers
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the Platform
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, including fishing regulations
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.
5. Intellectual Property
The Platform, including its design, features, code, and content created by BassTourneyHub, is owned by BassTourneyHub and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for its intended purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform without our express written permission.
Content you submit to the Platform (tournament information, results, angler data) remains your responsibility. By submitting content, you grant BassTourneyHub a license to display and use that content to operate the Platform.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
BassTourneyHub does not organize, host, or supervise any fishing tournament. We are a software platform only. We make no representations about the accuracy of tournament information posted by directors.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BASSTOURNEYHUB AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE PLATFORM EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BassTourneyHub and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any tournament you organize using the Platform.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections 5–10 of these Terms survive termination.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered directors via email or a notice on the Platform. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. SMS/Text Message Terms
BassTourneyHub Alerts Program
Program Name: BassTourneyHub Tournament Alerts
Description: Receive text message notifications for tournament reminders, registration deadlines, weather delays, trail standings updates, and important announcements from tournament directors you follow.
Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply based on your wireless carrier plan. Standard text messaging rates apply for all messages sent and received.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies by tournament season and your selected preferences. Typically 2-8 messages per week during active tournament seasons, fewer messages during off-season periods.

Opt-Out Instructions: You can cancel SMS alerts at any time. Text STOP to unsubscribe. For assistance, text HELP or contact support. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message.
